Lots of things in this world annoy me. Like people eating around me while I'm trying to work. The most annoying girl in the world was munching on a pear while I was trying to ignore my hunger pangs and write my law notes. Annoying. Perhaps what also annoys me is that Zadie Smith managed a $400,000 book deal and also managed to get on Time's 100 Top Novels List (inclusion of 1984, Lolita) for writing that was done while she was cramming for her finals at Cambridge University.
I mean, doesn't that just really suck?
However, I have re-read some of my writing during that period of intense concentration during last years finals and I have to say that some of it has been my best, and also, that I managed to both study, write and create the YearBook all during my finals last year and managed a 98.7 average for my VCE.
Suck that.

In about four hours work (a little less), I have not even completed understanding nor writing up notes about ONE article. ONE. I am so fucked. And not in the nice way, though I don't think there is any nice little way one can be screwed over so badly. OMG. Although, I did spend most of it talking with Alice, so hmm...I don't know. Maybe that was it. Even so, I have no understanding of what I'm typing up. Some bits are getting through but most of it is just white noiset to me. Yeah, creepy.

Thursday: Do Natural Law and Liberalism
Friday: Do All Alternatives

Finish All Notes for Commerce Subjects
This is going to vary, depending on my mood, but basically its going to be intense even though I've done most of my notes for marketing, my micro knowledge is plentiful (I still have to read the book and the additional reading) and stats...well, stats is going to be interesting.
Week After:23rd-30th October
Practice for Comm Subjects/Finish LIS Notes/Finish Comm Notes
Basically by this week, I want to be ahead of myself, I doubt it though, given my continuance up to this stage. Hmm...we'll see. I have plenty of time, but I want to get it all done by this time, or at least by this time, Wednesday.
Week After: 31st - 6th November
Exams start. I have two on Monday and then one on the Tuesday. I'm determined to come home and sleep it off for the rest of the day and then start intense study on the Wednesday and study continuously for a week. It should be fun, fun, fun.
Week After: 7th to the 14th
Exams finish. I officially finish on teh 10th but most of this week I'll be studying anyway. Technically this means I have a month left of university. Thank GOD!

I have a current obsession with British comedies. No, not the old ones, although they were all wicked, especially the well-loved BlackAdder that never should have ended and the recent movie should have been longer. I do love the new ones now, like The Office, Coupling and Spaced (okay, 1999 is not recent but STILL). I watch Coupling every Wednesday night and I just saw the Christmas Special of the Office. There is something tantalising brilliant about England's generation of comedy now. There is something, shall I say very common and identifiable about the english yuppie who wants to travel, has pasty skin, natty British accent and works all day in an office. Something that is so just...British.
Sometimes, I wish there was something like that is just so markedly Australia. Alas, there is nothing. Just bloody stereotypes.

Watched Spirited Away again and discovered more trailers after the credits, and I found something. Did you know Judd Nelson (i.e. Bender from Breakfast Club) was the voice of the little boy in 'Transformers: The Movie'? I think its time to sing the song 'How Low Can You Go'. Dude. Then again, I recently saw him and his very much older self in 'Chronicles: From the Edge'. Oh yeah, prime time TV that is.

As for nanowrimo, I've come up with my first character via iconning. Her name is Signe, after my favourite photographer, Signe Vilstrup, and she's quite...shall, I say hypnotic, has a tendency to over-use the mascara and a penchant for fur. She's beautiful, no doubt, but tempermental and artistic. And she's the heroine, or is she? Such things shall be later determined once I focus on a plot and more characters. Alas, here she is:
Okay, off to bed and plotting and dreaming about how great my life will be in a few years. Oh shut up, I know, but it will be much better than it is now. Woof.
